My name is Oke Joseph, I am the founder of Patrix Global. I was born and grew up in a small town called Modakeke in Osun state. As a young boy, I grew up knowing how insignificant my town is and how much we have struggled as a people to be recognized enjoy the rights that we are entitled to.
When I was about 4 or 5 years old, things got so bad, that war broke out between my town and the neighbouring town, over aggravations to have our own local government. As little as I was, I experienced, and could vividly still remember all the fear and tension that the war brought to our community.
Now, its been almost two decades since the war, the town has enjoyed peace and tranquillity, but things still haven’t improved so much. Modakeke as a town, still remains insignificant.
The fact that this is my motherland and that I grew up in this town, has kept a burning desire in my heart to make this town known, make it significant, earn its place in the country and even recognized in the whole of Africa for the beautiful things it is capable of.
I am sure that deep down in the heart of everyone in the community, they all wish our town too can rise to some form of prominence. And if everyone plays their part and do their quota, Modakeke can be great too.
And this is why I have put it upon myself, to spearhead the first luxury resort in the whole town. My dream is to make this so special, that its going to be the best structure, not just in the whole town, but also in all neighbouring towns and the whole state by extension. This project will be the talk of the town and the news of it will spread far and wide.
The goal is to have something so spectacular going on here, that it would attract, not just locals from neighbouring cities, but also tourists from all over the world to come and experience our unique beauty – the tranquil environment of this small African town all from the hilltop, while they also enjoy the world-class luxury that our Luxury Hilltop provides. I am sure that when this is all done, we will always be constantly booked out for the whole year!
